About Us
Founded in August 2009 in Carlsbad, CA by Nick and Staci Stefan, Faction Martial Arts is home to the most technical level of instruction for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Judo, MMA, and Kickboxing. With continuing growth of new students, the level of the Academy is on a constant rise. Our students have proven their talents and hard work through numerous Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournaments and Mixed Martial Arts shows, including the UFC. At Faction Martial Arts, our goals are to physically and mentally prepare both fighters and hobbyists, on and off the mat. We build students’ confidence and self esteem through hard work and intense training sessions. Every student will be trained based on their current skill level, from beginner to advanced.
