Our gym is the oldest, Muay Thai-focused gym in Minnesota. Founded in 2001 by Kru (Thai for teacher) Mike under the name GPX Muay Thai. Although the location and the name have changed throughout the years, the focus on traditional Muay Thai techniques never changed.

WHAT SHOULD I LOOK FOR IN A GYM?
Every gym has its own vibe. Make sure that the gym's vibe aligns with your expectations. Because of our small membership base and low attrition, our gym is like a family.
WHEN WILL I GET TO FIGHT?
This depends on your beginning skill level. However, most people can expect to put in at least 1 year of consistent training.
WHAT IF I DON'T WANT TO FIGHT?
Most gyms will have a sizable non-fighting population and ours is no different. Sparring, while beneficial, is completely optional. Also, because of our lack of attrition, there aren't the "personalities" that come with the larger fighting gyms since we work with each other for years.
HOW DO I CHECK IT OUT?
Walk in when we are open and speak with Rick. Please print and sign the liability form before you come. Your first 30 minutes of instruction are free and you can stick around and hit the bag.

Pricing
The open house is free. After that, our rates are competitive at $100 per month (paid in cash). This gets you access to the facility during the open times whenever you want (unlimited). Unlike some other gyms, we do not believe in gym contracts. Our top-notch personalized Muay Thai instruction will keep you coming back.
Why us?
We are a small gym with each class under 10 students. Unlike some gyms where the bulk of members are beginners, our gym has 2-8 intermediate/advanced students with only 1 to 2 beginners. Due to these class sizes and high experience level, you will get a lot of individual attention compared to other gyms. At Free Spirit Muay Thai gym, you get the benefits of a private lesson every session.
