Although the name Gen-Ki Karate has been around since the mid 60's Jerry Weiss started teaching for the Gen-Ki Karate systems in 1972. In 1974 he officially took over ownership of Gen-Ki Karate and the location on Milwaukee Avenue. Since that time Jerry Weiss has taken the name and students to new heights as far as the Martial Arts.Many have become national champions. Several students have been seen in commercials and movies.
