About Me

I found my passion for health and fitness very early in my life and began studying nutrition and exercise just for fun when I was in high school. After I graduated and entered college, I was able to major in health and fitness which allowed me to work on my expertise. I am a Portland State University and OHSU applied health and fitness graduate and am certified from the American College of Sports Medicine as well as ISSA Sports Nutrition Specialist. Currently I am working on my Precision Nutrition Level 1 certification because I want to learn as much as I can to provide those I train with the help they need for their specific goals. I specialize in weight loss, weight (muscular) gain and functional strength training. I love making my sessions enjoyable and thrive off the relationships I build while generating confidence and results.

What to Expect

Typically, we will decide from the beginning personal goals and develop a plan/program. In training sessions if you train with me at Fit Academy I will typically have you warm up walking on a treadmill or cycle. We will spend the first 5-8 minutes doing dynamic warm ups to prevent injury and spend the bulk of the session strength training or whatever specifically benefits your goal. The last 5 minutes are spent stretching to ensure proper recovery! Throughout my training I am available via email or text message for nutritional help and any questions or concerns :)
