Welcome to Long's Shotokan Karate Academy.  Long's Shotokan is owned and operated by Sensei Mark Long, a two time world champion in the World Karate Federation and a Team USA GoldMedalist.  Sensei Long holds black belt ranks in several styles of martial arts including Shotokan Karate, Shin Shin Jujitsu, Judo, and Tae Kwon Do.  He has served our community through his karate academy since 1980 and through after school programs in Independence and surrounding school districts.
