Originating in Thailand, with origins in the ancient battlefield tactics of the Siamese (or Thai) army, Muay Thai is the modern day national sport of Thailand. Universally acknowledged as possessing some of the most effective striking techniques, Muay Thai is much more than an aggressive display of violence, but a sport deeply rooted in tradition, history and respect.
