Hi, my name is Travis Tooke and I want to thank you for taking the time to visit our website and check out our school. I began Team Tooke Martial Arts Academy in April of 2005 out of my fathers 20ftX20ft garage. I had just returned from a 1 year stay in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where I was awarded my black belt from Carlos Gracie, Jr. Back then, I knew nothing about running a martial arts school but I knew that I had a passion to teach Jiu-jitsu to others and give to my community the way that martial arts has given to me. Today, the team and I operate in an 9,000 sq. ft.+ facility with hundreds of amazing students, all working hard to achieve their goals both inside and outside the academy. Martial Arts has shaped me into the person I am today and I believe it will do the same for you and your family. January 12, 2019 at 4:19 amWe’ve been members of Team Tooke for over 2 years. My son is 7 years old and has a blast at Team Tooke. His first coach, Cameron, is amazing with the children, and all around a very sweet and wonderful person. Coach JP is also one of my sons favorites, you really get the sense that they care about each each one of their students. They have fun and teach discipline at the same time. Whenever my son has had problems at school or at home one of the coaching staff is always there to step in and take him aside and talk to him. Professor Travis Tooke and his team are amazing!
