We are Gym 01!
Since opening our doors in 2011, right up to the present day we have had some incredible highs and lows. One truth that stands out is that through the determination and strength of our team, not only have we built the entire facility from scratch but we are still here doing what we love, day in and day out.

We have had a huge amount of success stories over the years, but one that really stands out is the debut of our first UFC fighter, Phil Harris. Following in Phil’s footsteps there are almost too many great achievements to mention but the one thing we are sure of; there will be many more to come. One of them could even be you! Everybody has to start somewhere, right? From teaching out of community centres to where we are today, the journey has been an exciting one and we cannot wait for what’s in store in the years to come!

Gym 01 was created from a dream, to house all of the martial arts under one roof.

Established by Gareth Johnson and Brian Adams they quickly recruited the best in the area at their disciplines and in 2011 the doors of Gym 01 were open.

Boasting the largest training area on the south coast, with a full sized cage, boxing ring, gym room, weights area along with male and female changing rooms and showers, a reception shop, smoothie bar and more we are sure you will love Gym 01 just as much as we do.
