Welcome to Nottingham MMA!
Nottingham MMA is Nottingham’s premier martial arts academy. Conveniently located in the city centre, Nottingham MMA offers a wide range of martial arts classes including Muay Thai, Brazilian jiu-jitsu (gi / no-gi), submission wrestling and, of course, MMA sessions. We also regularly run strength and conditioning circuits for those looking to improve their general fitness.

Building on a proud history

Nottingham MMA started life as Bushido MMA, which was set up by former professional fighter, Team Rough House member and BJJ black belt Lee Livingstone (9-1-0).

Many famous MMA fighters have came through Bushido’s doors over the years, including the UFC’s Dan Hardy and Ross Pearson, as well as Paul Daley, Jimmy Wallhead, Andre Winner and Dean Amasinger.

Lee left in 2014 for a new life in Thailand, with long-time Bushido coach and BJJ Black belt Paul Lukowski taking over. Under Paul’s leadership, the rebranded Nottingham MMA is continuing to build on a strong reputation by developing the next generation of skilled fighters, as well as growing our casual membership across all disciplines.
