He graduated from the Missouri Institute of Science and Technology with a degree in chemical engineering. After working several years in engineering he dedicated himself full-time to his passion, Jiu Jitsu and fitness.

In 2009, Bryan produced the Fight Fit training system. His fitness system is used in over 50 countries and the DVD is available on amazon.com. Daily workouts are published at www.guidrytraining.com.

Bryan was the conditioning coach for the St. Louis Community College at Meramec from 2007-2009. He boxed for several years at the North County boxing gym and began his training at age 13 with Korean grandmaster Bong-Yul Shin. Since 1998, Bryan has trained under Rodrigo Vaghi, who is a Black Belt world Champion under Rickson Gracie.
